Castlegreen Community School is a Secondary Special School, which caters for students between the ages of 11-19 years who experience behavioural, social and emotional difficulties and associated learning difficulties. Money raised though this site goes to our Residential Fund. This has been set up to allow as many students as possible the chance to go on overnight residentials. It subsidises all appropriate residentials and allows students that may not have otherwise been able to afford to go to attend. For instance, The Residential Fund has allowed us to subsidise most visits, so that students only needed to pay half the actual cost or less. During the 2005-06 academic year the fund helped pay for 130 places on 10 residentials spending a total of 423 nights away from home.
