Vision: to work with adults with learning disabilities to support them to have a choice of interesting and fulfilling activities to take part in.
Mission: to work with adults with learning disabilities to find out the barriers to their taking part in social, cultural and leisure activities, and to find ways of overcoming them
Ethos : we believe that people with learning disabilities are the experts in their own lives and the best people to support and inform other people with learning disabilities about going out and about.
Current Work: A group of people with learning disabilities are planning and presenting "Tyneside Superstars" - a series of community radio programmes by and for people with learning disabilities.
Another group are making an accessible training pack on community safety in the streets.
